This was yet another speed test where I gave myself 3 hours to complete the project from idea to final render. In the future, I'd like to try setting up a mood board that I can reference at the same time I set up the composition.

This project was fun as I took a fairly basic render and make it fit a rather unique location. I was able to setup a simulation in Cinema 4D for the water droplets. As I continue to work on this render challenge, I'd like to try using textures to drive the snow and water droplets vs simulating particles.

This render demonstrates the speed, flexibility, and precision that CGI brings to product visualization. In just 2.5 hours, I was able to produce this image using CGI. This is possible without the extra costs, scheduling challenges, or physical constraints of a traditional photoshoot.
SPACE NEXT - IMAX FILM
A mammoth industrial spaceship lays starkly against the backdrop of space. Smaller drones hustle between the ship and a nearby mining asteroid, carrying the final shipments of ore and gas. The anticipation of the spaceship's journey back home for processing is palpable, showcasing humanity's impressive space mining capabilities as we reach further out into the stars.

Despite the flexibility to design and create assets using any software I was comfortable with, it was crucial to ensure the final output was configured in Lightwave. This precise setup was imperative for seamless transition to the next artist, who could then animate it perfectly for the film.
THE CABIN
Over the years I find myself coming back to this rendering challenge see how I improve over time.
I like to imagine myself there and setup materials & lighting that help to make the image seem tactile.
The terrain a stretch of snow and hardy shrubs. In the distance, gentle hills casting a protective backdrop and the setting sun painting the last of its color against the night sky.

In this rendering and lighting internet challenge, I was provided with a scene populated with diverse assets. It was up to me to exercise my creativity and uniquely position these elements, thereby transforming the given scene into a distinct composition that tells a story which provided a fun challenge.
LOOPING CLOTH BANNER
SCENARIO:
You started a new business that uses a variety of displays at different aspect ratios TV's, Monitors, and Phones.
You'd like a short 10 second looping animation of your business name so that your brand identity on all of your displays is consistent.
With CGI you can easily swap the graphics and appearance of the looping cloth animation.

The goal of this project was to create both a texture and an animation that was seamless. This presented a challenge to me but in the end was well worth it in the end. My goal from the start was to establish consistent screensavers across all of my devices and computers. CGI was able to maintain independent renders are various aspect ratios for all my screen sizes.
